New 2026 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands
Vehicle Details
Description
This SUV suits buyers who want a vehicle that transitions seamlessly from city streets to off-road trails. Whether navigating unpredictable Midwest winters or enjoying weekend escapes, it meets the needs of those who demand active safety, connected technology, and flexible cargo space. Features like heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and automatic temperature control make everyday drives comfortable, while the split folding rear seat and generous cabin storage accommodate gear for family or outdoor activities. The inclusion of the Badlands Tech Package and SYNC® 4 ensures the Bronco Sport remains current in connectivity and convenience.
Power comes from the EcoBoost® 2.0L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, providing responsive acceleration and smooth gear changes. Four-wheel drive and four-wheel independent suspension contribute to confident handling on both pavement and rougher terrain. The SUV’s EPA-estimated 21 city and 28 highway MPG balance power with fuel efficiency, making it suitable for daily commuting as well as longer journeys. Speed-sensing steering and a robust braking system further enhance driver control, especially in changing road conditions.
Safety is a priority, with multiple systems actively supporting driver and passenger protection. Anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control help maintain traction and stability during sudden maneuvers or inclement weather. The exterior parking camera rear provides clear visibility when backing up, while auto high-beam headlights and brake assist increase confidence during night or emergency driving. Dual front and side impact airbags, a knee airbag, and an overhead airbag system offer comprehensive occupant protection. The emergency communication system, SYNC® 4 911 Assist, allows for immediate assistance if needed.
Key features include the Badlands Tech Package, which brings advanced connectivity through SYNC® 4 and a 5G modem, supporting navigation and seamless smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Heated front seats, a heated
